Born in 1985, she develops a keen interest in figurative arts since her adolescence.
She studies History of Contemporary Arts at the Sapienza University of Rome,
obtaining her Master’s Degree in History of Photography. In her thesis about the iconography of pain in photojournalism in war zones, she analyses a recurring
pattern in the composition of the image in current photojournalism, which descends from typical schemes of classical painting in authors like Andrea Mantegna or contemporary artist like Gina Pane. After several experiences in museums and art galleries as trainee
curator and press officer, in 2013 she decides to approach photography not just theoretically but practically, enrolling in the Scuola Romana di Fotografia e Cinema.
